Electrical Tester
To check that circuits or systems are working correctly, several different tests can be used to check the electrical installations. These tests are critical to the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
Please look at DSE's electrical test equipment offerings and do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
High voltage continuity testers
A voltage generator must provide the electrode with a continuous filtered voltage without transients.
HVT, HVT-GS High voltage continuity tester
Electrical resistance testers
The wire's resistance shall be expressed as the directional current resistance at 20°C. Suitable for wire diameters up to 3.15 mm (8 AWG).
OHM2, OHM3, OHM3A, OHM4 Electrical resistance tester
Pulse dielectic testers
The enamelled wire used in asynchronous motors driven by inverters suffers from relevant electrical and thermal stress due to the resulting sine waveform applied.
PDT, PDT1 Pulse dielectric tester
Transposed cable fault finders
Short circuits are formed between adjacent strips, generally caused by the a strip former hammer or by metal particles pressed by the stranding machine.
PF, PF1 Transposed cable fault finder
Pinhole testers
Based on sodium chloride aqueous solution, added with the proper quantity of alcohol solution of 3% phenolphthalein.
PH, PH1, PH2 Pin hole tester
Breakdown voltage testers
Wire diameter from 0.025 to 8 mm (50–0 AWG), and strip up to 50x8 mm.
RDT Breakdown voltage tester (Up to 30Kv, test voltage v15, v20 or v30)
RDT1, RDT2 Breakdown voltage tester (Up to 30Kv, test voltage v15, v20 or v30)
RDT3-C2 Breakdown voltage tester (Up to 50Kv, test voltage v20, v30 or v50)
Twist specimen fabricators
Wire diameter from 0.051 to 2.6 mm (44-10 AWG)
TWM, TWM1 Twist specimen fabricator
